Our Facilities
With nearly 20,000 square feet of space, we are one of the largest funeral homes in Kentuckiana.
We pride ourselves on the functionality and appearance of our facilities.
Our funeral home is a grand, colonial-style building with high ceilings and large open staterooms, along with intimate seating spaces for conversations and relaxation. In 2023 and 2024, we updated and upgraded our 66 year old home:
- new HVAC
- fresh paint throughout the building
- new furniture in our lounge that nearly doubles the seating for our guests
- the addition of a private "sitting room" for families to take a break during visitation, charge their phones and recharge their energy to receive the visitors who care for them
Those we serve tell us Highlands does indeed feel like someone's home with our bright corridors and inviting areas for conversation and sharing remembrances. People feel comfortable and stay to visit with their loved ones and friends versus hurrying in and out.
The flexibility of spaces allows us to accommodate a broad range of services; everything from very large assemblies to quaint gatherings.
Additionally, we have ample, well-lit parking for you and your guests.
